Limp Leather Binding - Black
This was another sewing variation I tried. This technique requires signatures in multiples of three. Rather than adding an additional piece of leather to wrap around, I added a leather button.
This is the end result.
First, I make my signatures and pre-punch the holes. Next, I cut a piece of leather to the size I need, making sure to account for spine thickness. Then, I use a piece of scrap paper to pre-punch the holes in the leather on the spine. Finally, sew it up :-)

What are the steps for making a book like this?
